Butch Branson, owner of Ohio Valley Marine Service Inc., has been involved in the maritime industry since 1973. As a result, we have bent, damaged or just plain destroyed many a propeller in those 39 years. After sending our propellers off to be repaired with mixed results, we decided to get into the propeller replace, repair and optimization business ourselves, and thus Paps Props was born!
Paps Props utilizes a revolutionary, new computer-based technology called Prop Scan®. Prop Scan® allows our technicians to detect variations in pitch, camber and elevation to .004 of an inch which is impossible to achieve by the “hang and bang” propeller outfits. We guarantee each blade to be equal to each other not only in pitch, but from the root to the tip of each prop we optimize.
